What the show is about
Leadership That Stays isn’t a tour of guests’ résumés. It’s about what makes a leader stay: in the role, in the organization and in the work. Guests include physician leaders, nursing leaders and healthcare executives from Canada and the United States, talking about how they got there, what they actually do day to day, and what keeps their teams together.
Two kinds of listeners get something from each episode: hospital and health system executives who need leaders who stay, and clinicians stepping into leadership roles nobody trained them for.
The show started in 2025 as Physicians Who Lead. Earlier episodes still carry that name.

About the host
Kevin Kirkpatrick has 25 years in recruitment and 22 in healthcare, including leading hospital recruitment teams at Humber River Hospital, St. Michael’s Hospital and Peterborough Regional Health Centre. He founded Avery Professional Group in 2008. More about Kevin
